Dados Históricos:  Móvel de madeira imbuia, encerado, em estilo império antigo. Na parte inferior há um gavetão com dois puxadores de metal apresentando motivos florais, ao centro uma fechadura de metal. No Brasil o uso de guarda-roupa tornou-se mais frequente a partir do século XVIII. Inicialmente muito simples, sem grandes ornamentos, só ao final desse século que modelos mais trabalhados e requintados com almofadas foram encontrados. Geralmente eram compostos de duas portas, uma ou duas gavetas na parte inferior; já os modelos de quatro portas eram raríssimos. No séc. XIX já aparecem os modelos com a parte superior envidraçada e a inferior fechada com duas portas.

Historical Data: Waxed wood furniture, waxed, in an ancient empire style. At the bottom there is a drawer with two metal handles with floral motifs, in the center a metal lock. In Brazil, the use of wardrobes became more frequent in the 18th century. Initially very simple, without great ornaments, it was only at the end of that century that more worked and exquisite models with cushions were found. They were usually made up of two doors, one or two drawers at the bottom; four-door models were very rare. In the century. XIX models already appear with the glass top and the bottom closed with two doors.
